Stark, already known for his innovative ecological designs, pioneered commercially viable green architecture with this So Cal campus. He utilized environmentally friendly materials and efficiencies in the design and build of all the structures. The tree-dotted campus's large green spaces make the place seem more like a college than a Fortune 500 HQ. Additionally, with the exception of security vehicles, internal combustion engines are forbidden beyond the parking lots. A fleet of electronic carts and a state-of-the-art monorail system, provide fast, efficient transport.

Notable features include extensive R&D labs (two main clusters: electrical and chemistry centers); general labs; metal processing and fabrication plant and factory complex, towering administration building, security tower; main computer center (adjacent to the software development center); massive warehousing facilities and a rail yard (heavy trucks enter the area via their own entrance and make their way to the warehouses under ground).
