Stark International Locations

Stark International

The sprawling, global technology power we know today as Stark International was started by the hard-nosed industrialist Howard Stark. Under his son, billionaire-inventor Anthony Stark, the business spanned the globe, becoming the most sophisticated research and manufacturing company in the world.

The oldest facility still in operation is the original, the Flushing, Long Island factory complex and world headquarters. The two square mile, multibillion dollar complex, on the shore of Long Island Sound features extensive research and manufacturing facilities and the vast corporate offices that for decades have made up the backbone of S.I.--except for a brief relocation to Southern California (where Stark has a large complex north of Los Angeles).

Notable features include R&D labs, factory complex, administration building, an airfield, solar convertor powerplant, a nuclear reactor; special housing and recreation facilities, a monorail, a trainyard, and a shipyard on Long Island Sound, along with a full range of medical facilities.

New York State is also home to S.I.'s New York City branch, the Queens factory complex, and a rocket-launching pad on the tip of Long Island, as well as a facility in Westchester and the upstate plant in Buffalo. Hudson City is home to Stark Prosthetics (an R&D center focusing on aiding the physically handicapped).
