Oversize Red and Gold Armor Variant

Rhodes showed up in a variant model in #266 to assist Tony in taking down Kearson DeWitt and his mighty purple armor.

Although described as an “early model suit,” it resembles the armor Stark was using at the time (the Oversize Red and Gold Armor), in general size and appearance, but with some major differences. First, it featured a different mask, one sporting a mouth slit more in line with the early classic red and gold suits. Second, the boots and gloves are smaller. Again, more like the classic armors rather than the larger ones of the Model XIV. Finally, this suit featured a rectangular chestbeam, and square power pods (technically, fusion packs).

Armaments: Repulsors; chest beam; and all the standard weapons found in the Model XIV Armor.
